Celebrating 15 years of amazing transportation service in the Valley, Snoqualmie Valley Transportation (SVT) has been a valuable community resource since its establishment in 2003. The Mt. Si Senior Center led the charge and developed a successful project with the partnership and support of the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe, King County Metro Transit and Washington State Dept of Transportation (WSDOT). With a vision of enabling all Snoqualmie Valley residents the opportunity to reach their destination via transit, SVT has been a successful integral part of a strategic plan for sustainable, safe, affordable and convenient transit in the Snoqualmie Valley.

This local, private, non-profit bus company provides residents with a reliable means of getting to medical appointments, the grocery store, work or to a local entertainment spot. SVT’s success is driven in part by their dedication to connect people with places, help people stay socially active and to help their community by making sure that residents get to where they want to go in an easy, friendly and inexpensive way.

SVT operates small, 10-to-12 passenger buses that are all wheelchair accessible, Monday through Friday. The company provides four types of services: Fixed Route- the Valley Shuttle is a fixed route service that transports residents from North Bend to Duvall every 90 minutes; Demand Response-“Demand-response” requires advance scheduling by the rider and the daily routes vary, with different pick-up points; Loop Routes- The Downtown Loop and the Cedar Fall Loop provides fixed route service in a one-way loop; Senior Ride Program-Snoqualmie Valley volunteers provide transportation for seniors who are 60 and older who are unable to drive or use regular transit, using their personal vehicles to reach medical appointments or run errands. SVT goes the extra mile to meet the different needs of its riders.
